Working One Job At a TimeKitchen Remodeling Timeline

OC Contractor Bathroom Remodeling works just one job at a time. Your project takes top priority and we won't pull off of your job to work on other projects. Our state-licensed working foreman is on your job every day attending to all details so you don't have to.

 

Planning, scheduling, and selection of materials takes place 2 - 3 weeks prior to beginning construction. OC Contractor will be with you every step of the way, from our first meeting, through product selection, and completion of construction.

 

Day 1

  • Dumpster arrives
  • Place protective drops and plastic
  • Remove all kitchen items
  • Prepare floor
  • Clean up

Day 2

  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Repair/ patch walls
  • Clean up

Day 3

  • Finish rough plumbing
  • Finish rough electrical
  • Finish Repairing drywall - plaster holes
  • Start laying out / installing cabinets
  • Clean up

Day 4

  • Start installing cabinets
  • Start laying out appliances
  • Clean up

Day 5

  • Install cabinets doors and drawer guides
  • Laying out appliances
  • Make custum countertop templates
  • Install plumbing shout offs
  • Clean up

Day 6

  • Finish installing cabinets and crown moldings
  • Install flooring
  • Install baseboards

Day 7

  • Prep for installing appliances
  • Finish installing baseboards / floor treatments
  • Prepare for countertop installation
  • Clean up

Day 8

  • Install countertops and backsplashes
  • Install appliances / cooktop / oven / range hood / dishwasher etc.
  • Install faucet / garbage disposal / plumbing etc.
  • Finish electrical
  • Clean up

Day 9

  • Finish Instaling appliances / cooktop / oven / range hood / dishwasher etc.
  • Finish any plumbing

Day 10 - 11 - 12

  • Place protective drops and plastic
  • Prep / start drywall patching & texturing
  • Start Priming and painting
  • Finish paint
  • Clean up

Day 13

  • Install / finish remaining odds and ends
  • Install electrical plates and Recessed light trims ext.
  • Finish any fine details
